Graham Potter answers on links to Man Utd manager job and club’s current state | MNF

I like Potter and I think he's a good coach (maybe he'll even be a great one someday), but he seemed very much in "PR mode" on MNF. I guess it's going to always be the way to some extent: managers do some punditry kind of like soft advertising for themselves as if to say "I am still here and am a safe pair of hands", but I was disappointed how every answer seemed like it was prepared beforehand and there was little spontaneity. Not every manager can be a charismatic pundit like Ange or Gary O'Neil, but I was at least hoping to see him relax and lower his guard a little bit.

Anyway, hope he gets a job worthy of his skills soon.

The game vs spurs was not the worst since ten hag was employed to coach the men's first team. I think the half when united conceded 4 to Brentford was worse, the 4-0 loss to palace was worse and the 7-0 Liverpool defeat was arguably the nadir.
