  2. I can make a whole vedio on darwen Nunez missing easy chances last season with Luis Diaz which cost us the title in the final stages

  3. Darwin nunez has every physical aspect you want in a striker except for IQ and finishing.

  4. I doubt Nunez has the quality.. been lost for too often and too long

  5. I feel like they just need it to be Nunez show even when we win or lose the fact that he was sick recently and not up t9 match speed doesn't count but when villa placed bayern no mention of Mr kane performance what a fantastic journalism 😂😂😂😂

  6. This lot, and the clowns on CBS all fake laughing need to be taken off the tv.. some football fans want to hear intelligent opinions, not just trash and troll media like this.

  7. I think this is silly .. Nunez has 10 goals in 20 champs matches. by seasons end his stats will be not much different to that current rate. Salah missed 2 simple easy passes to Nunez several times this match to where Nunez made the perfect run and was in perfect position for easy goals. funny how they didn't mention that.

  8. Darwin and Jota had few scoring chances because the three midfielders did not do their job of getting the ball to them. For exampel, many games, Jota had to get himself in the midfield position to recieve the ball before he could do anything with it (like dribbling to the zone and making the right pass). Szoboszlai could make good penetrating runs but he is more interested in scoring himself than getting his forwards the scoring opportunities. Gravenberch dribbled well into the final third, but then lost his head about what to do with the ball when he got there. The only MF who could make a decent pass or a penetrating run is Mac, but he played too deep to be of service regularly.

As far as the front line, Salah is wasteful with his passes (often blocked). Diaz is more a loner wolf than a good passer. Gakpo is more efficient with his passing. Chiesa is the hope.

One more thing. If Robertson can't even take a quality corner (high and slow, or it risks getting blocked by the first defender), let TAA, Szoboszlai or Tsimikas take it. Big difference in the ball game.

  9. Salah only got his goals and assists because as the focal point of the front line, he received a disproportionate number of passes, but he is not efficient at all, wasting many opportunities by either misfiring or making poor decisions with his passes. He scored in the match against the Wolves only because he took a penalty, but his penalty-taking skill was actually quite poor because that shot was to the middle of the goal and quite savable. He had an assist today but he also wasted many other passes. The assisting pass curled towards the goalkeeper because he could only use his left foot to pass (how many wingers made their crosses with the wrong foot?), and a better GK would have collected it.

I submit that Salah is not even included in the consideration for Ballon d'Or because the pundits don't see him as a high-efficiency player, as all superstars must be. It is not easy for me to say this as a fan of Liverpool over the past 5 decades.

  10. Nothing is right by individual on comment, as a former football player by themselves, they make mistake & even worst than Nunez!!! Who's perfect??

  11. There's pundits and idiots unfortunately. These folks have nothing better to do than pull on a thread so they can drive a narrative that makes them feel useful and knowledgeable. What happened to journalistic integrity? Stop creating content out of bias and poor taste. Show these athletes some respect.

  12. Let's not beat about the bush here: Nunez is useless.
For fans old enough to remember, he's the modern day Tony Hately.

  13. Lolololololololololololololololololololllololol

  14. Nunez is breaking all records. He is the only LFC striker with more offsides than goals.

  15. Mac Allister and Gravenberch are so good

  16. Nunez is a waste of time. He gets his name sung more than anyone but has a hissy fit when likely non Liverpool fans troll him online and removes his Liverpool content. No way should Gakpo be behind him, he isn't good enough for Liverpool.

  17. Nunez DOESN’T NEED TO BE OFFSIDE. His goal that was chopped off, he didn’t need to be offside.

  18. Nunez played well, he had 2 good shots saved

  19. I think this is a little harsh

  20. That's why there are sports psychologists and specialist coaches.

  21. We have to be honest and admit that while Salah is capable of magic moments (like last night and in almost every game for the past 7 years,) 80 % of his passes in the final third go nowhere. That means that multiple potentially successful attacking plays end with him passing the ball straight into defender's feet. I do believe it's gotten worse this year as he attempts to dribble a bit less

  22. I think its harder for Nunez as he doesn't speak English and its a new Manager with all these tactics coming into play now and I still think a lot of the players are getting used to where they need to be for each pass and when to pass it. But he is quick so he doesn't need to push it so much for the offside. The manager needs to tell him to sit back a bit more and just make sure your onside when you make these runs.

  23. The fact that they have not posted about one of the most exciting match of the night in Liepzig vs Juventus…i guess they don't want to post stuff about the controversy…because yeah, the refereeing was a bit questionable, but i would think it would make for more views on the videos….strange.

  24. Thank god salah scored!! Otherwise thy would hv not spared him.

  25. Salah can hit wonder passes every game but if we’re 4 on 1 and just need to avoid the only defender 9 times out of 10 you know he’s giving the ball straight to that defender 😂

  26. It's unfair to point all fingers at one player but still the truth of the matter is Nunez looks like he will never be lethal at Liverpool and he needs to be moved on next season

  27. He played all right; he put great effort into every game.

  28. The Nunez cult are well active in the chat, relentlessly trying to defend their guy. It's embarrassing to watch.

  29. How can Nunez do anything when salah is struggling to make easy passes

  30. Rashford has been diabolical but never gets as much hate as Nunez

  31. Add Steve Nicol to the massive list of british ex-pros that know NOTHING about football. Talks absolute tosh most of the time.

  32. Nunez will be a monster when given a good run in the team. Its crazy how wasterfull mo has been recently, but nunez cops the grief?

  33. All this bullshit with Nunez started with him signing for Liverpool around the same time as Haaland. The media jumped on Haaland's record and comparing it to Nunez was just unrealistic. His contributions should be compared to all forwards but like Rashford, people expect too much from him. Both have psychological barriers that need breaking down except Rashford has an attitude problem to go with his issues.

  34. Steve is always speaking rubbish

  35. Darwin can rattle teams even if he is not a 20 goal a season player still plays his part .

  36. A little lost? Man looks like he's been stuck in the Amazon for decades

  37. Darwin Nunez is where Mo Salah was at Chelsea and Roma before it all clicked

  38. Liverpool's attack is really stacked tbh

  39. He is garbage. Focus on buying a good striker

  40. Salah played well, but his service into darwin was beyond a joke. multiple times, he could have put darwin in, and he hits the first man with a weak right footed pass.

  41. WHAT ELSE DO YOU EXPECT?? It's steve nicol, he never talks about positivity. It's always about negatives.

  42. Well said ..he is useless

  43. Darwin Nunez is a 90 million failure. People give stick to Antony but Darwin is equally shite.
